Malta

Malta is an archipelago in the central Mediterranean consisting of three islands that are located between Sicily and the coast of North Africa. Malta is currently an independent country, a member of the European Union, with an area of 316km 2 and 413,609 inhabitants. Its capital is La Valletta (or Valletta) which, although it is not the most populous city in the country, has historically been the urban center of greater relevance in the entire archipelago.

Malta is the only Mediterranean country where English is the official language, so many people travel to practice the language and enjoy the beaches.
